Grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, where he acquired his B.A. in Fine Arts at the Universidad Nacional. In 2003, he was awarded a scholarship for an M.A. degree at SVA, New York City. After graduating, he worked as creative director, 3D animator and board’s designer for clients, such as Canon, Sundance Channel, ESPN, Nicktoons, Lifetime, Versus, CBS, TV Land, Mercury Ford, Converse, Sprint, at&t, MLB Networks, Hard Rock Cafe, the video game „God of War“, amongst others.
For his graphic design work, Santiago was awarded an emmy for the show package MLB tonight in 2013 and nominated for a second emmy for his mlb network’s “monuments“, where he was lead designer in 2014.
